If you are on an Android device, please make sure your Pura app is up to date (3.6.8 (11) or newer)

You can find your app version on the settings tab in your Pura app towards the bottom of the page
If you need to update your app, use the following steps:

1. Open the Google Play Store

2. Tap your profile icon at the top right corner of the screen

3. Select option 1, manage apps & device.

4. Tap on the manage tab with the updates available filter highlighted

5. If the Pura app appears here go ahead and select it and tap the update button

If you do not see an update available on this step, try scrolling to the top of the page and doing a refresh drag. The update should appear if you do not yet have 3.6.8

Once the update is complete open the app. A car icon should appear on the top right corner of your screen.  (See image)

If the car does not appear, try force-closing the app and opening it again.

If it does not appear after a few tries, there may be an error that occurred getting your profile added to the beta. Please respond to this email or reach out to support at carbeta@pura.com and we can troubleshoot. 

Diffuser Setup

Once you have the access confirmation above:

1. Plug in and power on your device 

2. Click the + icon (add device) on the top right corner of the diffusers tab in the Pura app.

3. Go through the in-app onboarding flow until you reach a success screen to complete the device setup.

Once you successfully onboard the device you are ready to start Diffusing! 

Any time you would like to access Pura Car Device Controls in the app, simply tap on that car icon and it will scan for and connect to your device. Your device must be plugged in and within Bluetooth range to connect.
